First, some personal news. Back in July, I joined up with a group called the UX Writers Collective to create an entry-level, UX Writing course.

This group is much more talented than me. UX Writers from Google, Amazon, Intuit and many other top companies have contributed modules to the course. It covers everything a hiring manager would expect to see from a junior UX Writer, as well as a section on how to get a job.

This is the section I contributed to. We’ll cover how to create a portfolio, resources for finding a job, UX Writing tests and a whole lot more I haven’t shared on this email before.

Are you a Senior UX Writer in New York? Dropbox want you.

Cypress HCM are recruiting a UX Writer in Los Gatos. You’ll be a TV-nut and have 10+ years of relevant writing experience. Seems like this would suit a former scriptwriter / copywriter.

NerdWallet’s job ad for a UX Copywriter in SF has popped up again.

Another TV gig. AMC Networks are recruiting for a Freelance UX / Product Copywriter in New York. They’re looking for someone with 3+ years of product design experience.

Capital One are looking for a UX Writer in McLean, Virginia. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. If you’re hiring for a UX Writer this is the job ad to replicate.

Eventbrite are looking for a UX Writer in San Francisco. You’ll “live the Eventbrite brand” and be “adventurous, purposeful, welcoming and original”. Sounds like a difficult yoga pose.

Gusto are hiring for a Senior UX Writer in San Francisco. You’ll have 7+ years of writing experience and a familiarity with SaaS and HR Services.

Peace International are recruiting for a Senior UX Writer in Mountain View, CA.

Cvent Senior UX Writer in Portland, Oregon. 3+ years of experience for this, which seems like too little.

Rest of the World

Investis are hiring for a Senior Content Strategist (and a regular Content Strategist) in their London office.

HelloFresh are recruiting for a Senior UX Writer in Berlin. Salary in the 48-55k EUR range with relocation / visa covered for the right candidate.

Facebook want a Content Strategist in London. You’ll have 5+ years of experience.

Beyond are looking for a Senior Content Strategist in London. Over 30 days’ annual leave with this one.

Amazon are after a Content Developer in Cork, Edinburgh or Luxembourg (nice spread of cities).

Invoice2Go are hiring for a UX Writer in Sydney, Australia. They have customers in over 160 countries so this one’s on a large scale. Lisa Marco Pritchard is the hiring manager for this one.

Summer Internships (2019)

Spotify have their Summer UX Writing Internship listed. This one’s in New York.

Facebook are hiring for their Content Strategy Internship programme in London.

Workiva are recruiting for their UX Writing Summer Internship program in Ames, Iowa.
